From the renowned appellation of Saint-Estephe, La Chapelle De Calon is the third-wine of Chateau Calon-Segur - 3rd Growth (3eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc.

The wines are generally composed of approximately 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot; Matured in 3 year old oak barrels for 16 months.

This bottle is from the outstanding 2000 vintage.
